Milestones
Verimag was founded by Rolf Krähenmann in 1983 as a service provider for a general contractor.
In 2008, the company actively began to take on third-party mandates and to develop its expertise as a real estate family office. Its services include the management and sale of residential, commercial and hotel properties, asset management and advisory services, as well as the provision of financing and investment solutions. Besides its core portfolio in Switzerland, Verimag also administers and actively manages proprietor investments in Portugal, Canada, USA and China.
In 2010, Verimag took on the mandates and employees of Steim Generalunternehmung AG, increasing its headcount to 12. The residential property sales business was greatly expanded, focusing on the sale of real estate in the Cantons of Zurich, Schwyz, Lucerne and St. Gallen. In addition, the company began serving the resort destinations of Klosters/Davos and St. Moritz.
In order to focus fully on its core competences of sales – both nationally and internationally – and the family office, Verimag AG outsources its traditional management activities to Home Solutions.immo AG in 2024. This strategic decision allows Verimag AG to deploy its resources more efficiently and focus on the further development and optimisation of its core competencies.
Verimag AG’s team has now developed into a locally based but internationally thinking family office specialising in direct property investments and transactions.
